About Carolina Sons of Liberty
1) We are here to give American citizens and patriots an outlet to vent their frustration and direct their subsequent displeasure to their government.
2) It is every citizen's duty in a free society to educate themselves politically in order to elect the best possible representation in their government.
3) Government represents the people and the people's will. When the government becomes oppressive and forgets this, it is the people's responsibility to change that government.
4) It is not the responsibility of government to supply the needs of the people. In a free society, people are free to succeed or fail independent of government interference.
5) We believe in the one true God, who sent his son Jesus, the Christ, for our redemption, and the Holy Spirit, which guides the lives of God's people. It is a very large part of what drives us every day. You can choose for yourself, and your belief in God certainly isn't a requirement to interact with this group. Freedom and Liberty includes freedom of religion or lack thereof. We do not discuss this on our site, but we do not try to hide our personal beliefs, nor are we ashamed of them.
1) The size of the government on a state and federal level is unacceptable. We call for the reduction of federal and state budgets by 50% as well as subsequent reduction in the tax rates by 50%.
2) The right to keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed, but it shall be encouraged. Arm yourselves for your protection and become familiar with your firearm. It is your right as an American.
3) We call for term limits on all elected representatives at all levels of government. If it is good enough for the president, it is good enough for everyone else.
4) We call for our borders to be secure and an immediate and unconditional halt to the inflow of illegal immigrants. We must immediately begin the process of removing any illegals, first removing all those who are illegally residing in the U.S. and are criminals, and then allow a limited number of work visa's to remaining illegal immigrants.
5) Schools will teach traditional and time honored curriculum without social and character education. Individual families, a child's mother and father, or legal caregiver's, shall instruct children in social and character issues.
6) America must defend it's borders and it's people, and has a right to do so. We support swift and deliberate action to protect America at home and it's interests abroad. We Support our military and their actions, and oppose the harassment of military personnel for perceived "crimes" while serving in combat zones.
