Should the Constitution be abolished?
2-20-10 Well I suppose it depends on who you ask. There are those Americans, such as I, who ardently defend the Constitution and advocate following it to the letter without exception. There are however, a great and growing number of Americans who feel that the Constitution is outdated, and should either be changed or abolished altogether. Opponents of the Constitution are in error either because of their ignorance or because of the limits the Constitution places on government, and the empowerment given to the people hinders some from advancing their socialist agenda. Education about what is and isn't "Constitutional" is the anchor of this website, and the Constitution is the anchor to our fading republic.
Key Constitutional principle: Article 6, paragraph 2 of the US Constitution states, "This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding." Simply put, the Constitution is the final authority. It is the first law, the trump card, for which there is nothing that can compete. It is the filter for which we sift all proposed laws through. The Constitution is indispensable and must be followed, there is no other path.
The Constitution is man's best attempt thus far at giving people the freedom to live life as they choose, free from the control and dictates of government. Individuality and individual rights thrive under the Constitution. Without government interference into personal lives, people are motivated by the chance to improve their lives and the lives of their family or even their fellow citizens. Americans with an independent, industrial, and innovative spirit combined with the freedom to nurture and grow have produced so many inventions that are common in the world today. The mass production of the automobile, the airplane, traffic light, peanut butter, the light bulb, the telephone, the polio vaccine, the sewing machine, the computer......... and these are only a few of the inventions that have been born from American ingenuity, which would be much less likely without individual worth, individual freedom, and personal liberty.
With the prosperity and fame that a common man or woman can attain in America, with American history having so many examples of innovation and success, it is puzzling to me how some Americans can strongly advocate for a collectivist system of government. Have you ever heard of a famous Russian inventor? Neither have I. A Russian invented a lollipop making machine once.......nah. It just doesn't have the same flair. How many rich Chinese philanthropists have you ever heard of? Neither have I. How about the Muslims in the middle east? Know of any big accomplishments? In the last thousand years? Neither do I. ( I know that most modern day Muslim nations are theocracies, and not communist or socialist nations, but it was too tempting to put forth the question anyway.) What is the missing ingredient? Freedom! Liberty! Individuality! Are Americans more intelligent than communists? No. Than Muslims in the middle east? No. We have placed value in the individual and the rights of the individual, which allows prosperity to grow. Combine this with the tenacity, grit, and courage that is part of our American heritage, and the result is the most successful nation the world has ever seen, the United States of America.
With such a heritage, why would we ever want to go back to the chains and slavery of socialism? We have been the beacon of light to the world, the shining city on a hill. If freedom dies in America, to whom will the world look? Critics may call my attitude arrogant. To them I ask, if America isn't that example, why have so many over the centuries flocked to her shores in search of a better life? Why do we have over 20 million illegals here? Most want to prosper in a way that would not be possible in their home nation. Look at the nations people try to get into, and look at those nations people are trying to escape, and ask yourself, "What kind of government is in each? People want to leave the communist, socialist, and theocratic states at a greater rate than those trying to get in, and greater numbers of people try to enter rather than leave nations that respect individual rights.
The Constitution is the guardian of our individuality. It is the guarantee, the gift the nation's founders gave us, that we would be respected as individuals, and government would largely remain out of our lives. We must honor this founding document, and remain vigilant, ensuring that current and future generations enjoy the liberty that God has so blessed us with.

Unlawful to be illegal in Arizona
5-1-10 In the dictionary under redundant, it says, "see redundant." Not really, but it would illustrate the point well. There is a new radicalism emerging in Arizona. They are going to enforce the law. Last week, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed into law a bill that makes being an illegal immigrant a crime in Arizona, allowing Arizona law enforcement officials to take action when they are faced with dealing with known or suspected illegals. The Arizona law mirrors federal law, with very few exceptions. The feds have dropped the ball for over 20 years, transcending political parties, Republicans and Democrats are both guilty of ignoring the problem, and Arizona is now asserting responsibility and the willingness to take action. The absolute travesty in this situation is that the United States has been asleep at the wheel for at least 24 years, doing virtually nothing to slow or stop the flow of illegals; and to add insult to injury, many Americans not only approve of illegals jumping the border and pushing their way into American society, but actively defend it.
The first issue to consider in this argument is whether or not foreigners should be allowed free and open access to the United States. A sovereign nation has clearly defined borders, and those borders must be maintained and respected. This is not a strange concept. Mexico, for example, has a tough immigration law. Article 67 of Mexican immigration law states that, “Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal … are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues.” This sounds quite reasonable to me. If you are in a country you must be able to prove that you are either a citizen, or that you are in that country legally. It is neither racist nor excessively harsh to expect that a person show proof of being here legally. Border integrity must be maintained. In this department, the United States has failed miserably. This is not to say that the US Border Patrol is not doing their jobs, however, it takes a great deal of manpower to guard a border that spans roughly 1969 miles, trying to stop an average of almost 1300 people per day from crossing. More is needed to augment the Border Patrol in curbing the flow of illegals.
Secondly, the federal Government has been AWOL on the subject of immigration for most of my life. Ronald Reagan in 1986, signed an amnesty bill for roughly 3 million illegals. He called it amnesty and didn't hide the fact, citing that in the future, we needed to handle things differently. Have we handled them differently? No. The federal government has for years looked at the 1 ton gorilla in the corner and refused to acknowledge its presence. They become energetic and motivated only after the citizenry becomes irate and vocal. There is no political will in America on a federal level to take any action on immigration, and when they are pushed into action, it is little more than a cleverly disguised or dressed up amnesty bill. What Americans want on this subject is action. We want the rule of law to be enforced. It is the federal governments responsibility to protect our borders. Since they refuse to do so, Arizona has taken it upon themselves to protect their state.
Many have said, "But what about the rights of the illegals?" Do they have the right to dignity? Absolutely. Do they have the right to be treated humanely? Without a doubt. Do they have the same rights as an American citizen? Absolutely not. Should they be allowed to stay in America? Absolutely not. To reward these people for violating our laws is an insult to all those who have come to America legally, living here for years with a work visa, then obtaining a green card, and finally becoming a citizen. It is a long, painstaking process to immigrate legally and is insulting in the worst way to those who follow the rules to reward those who sneak in demanding citizenship.
The new Arizona law brings the immigration debate to the forefront of American politics. Republicans and Democrats alike have ignored the problem, allowing it to grow and fester. Many Americans are disgusted with the federal government's lack of energy with regards to immigration, and we must change our direction as a nation in this matter. The borders will likely never be completely secure, however there is still room for improvement. Checking immigration status at all levels of law enforcement is not only reasonable, but necessary. Beginning the deportation process after identifying illegals is paramount. It is a simple truth that we will never completely stop illegal immigration. Illegals who are identified will be treated humanely, but still must be deported. We cannot as a nation continue in this sleepy response to the millions of illegals in our midst. Arizona is leading the way in tackling the colossal problem. This is not the final solution, but the beginnings of the United States returning to the radical notion of enforcing the law. At the core of our American Heritage
5-16-10 “Lay down your arms and disperse you damned rebels!” A British officer shouted these orders at Lexington Massachusetts in April 1775. Someone fired a shot, it is unknown who, and thus began the American Revolution. It was known as “The shot heard round the world.”
The battles of Lexington and Concord began as British general Thomas Gage sent 700 troops into the Massachusetts countryside to confiscate the firearms of American civilians, and the result is that the British were turned back to Boston, harassed by Americans all the way back. The Americans later surrounded Boston, eventually forcing a British retreat. The right to own and possess firearms as laid out in our Constitution, arose from these battles. American militia fought off trained troops in defense of their right to live a life free of tyranny.
I had the privilege of attending the annual National Rifle Association meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina last week, and it was time well spent. The National Rifle Association is the primary defender of our right to keep and bear arms. This right has been at the core of our American heritage since before we declared our independence as a nation. It was estimated to have 70,000 in attendance, which would be the largest gathering ever of freedom loving patriots in celebration of the right to gun ownership.
First of all, let me be state that gun ownership is not something granted by the United States government. Our right to possess firearms is God given, so that we may be free, and are able to defend our freedom, and since it is not granted to us by government, it cannot be taken away by government. The assertion by the modern American Leftist is that gun ownership is conditional, and a privilege. Left wing radicals have relentlessly tried to restrict the rights of Americans to possess firearms. The United Nations is again making the attempt to meddle in the affairs of the United States in an attempt to ban guns, superceding our Constitution, and there are willing conspirators inside America, working in the highest levels of our government. This will not stand. We will defend Liberty, freedom, and our Constitution, and we will prevail. Our politicians know that gun control legislation is political kryptonite, which is why leftist gun control nazi’s hope that the US will sign a UN treaty that will do their gun banning for them. Not only have they no sense of freedom, but they no longer have the courage to openly state and defend their position. Quite dishonorable, and distasteful.
With so many gun toting right wing “extremists” in one place at the NRA convention, I’m sure some would have expected Charlotte to burn down, but it didn’t. I did not see or hear of one incident at all, of any of my fellow “extremists” breaking the law in any way, shape, or form. The “extremists” were polite, friendly, and respectful, holding doors open for our elders, making way for the disabled among us to pass. I don’t even recall anyone raising their voice in anger, and no, we weren’t armed. Neither the convention center or the coliseum in Charlotte allowed the carrying of firearms, and we complied.
The second amendment and the National Rifle Association are not here to protect hunters, competitive shooting, or gun collectors. The right of Americans to possess firearms stems from the past attempt to confiscate them by a tyrannical, overbearing government, which resulted in the “Shot heard round the world.” An armed citizenry is a counterbalance to the tyrannical lust for power that inevitably comes from any government. We protect ourselves from personal harm with firearms, and protect our liberties, and our Constitution. Long live the Constitution, long live the right to keep and bear arms, and long live the men and women who are not afraid to exercise their rights and defend their liberty. God Bless America

Would the "real" Americans please stand up?
6-5-10 Conservative commentator Dennis Praeger recently participated in a question and answer meeting at the University of Denver. He was asked the question; "Identify the single (biggest) threat to our country, above all others." Mr. Praeger immediately said that it wasn't Obama. He said that the single biggest threat to our country was that we had failed to pass on to this generation what it means to be American. I have pondered this statement all week. It is difficult to accept, and yet undeniably truthful.
Most Americans feel that they are patriotic, and that their values are American to the highest standard, but are they? Are Tea Party activists more patriotic than healthcare for everyone activists? Are Republicans more patriotic than Democrats? Gun control advocates versus Pro Gun advocates? Pro Life versus pro abortion? What if I said that no one group is more patriotic than another? What if I said that all points of view are equally acceptable? When you hear that all points are equal, run. Don't look back, because all points are NOT equal. Everyone has an equal right to be heard under the law, it's called freedom of speech, but do not confuse your right to be heard with a belief that all points are valid and equal.
Americans are traditionally opinionated and vocalize their opinions without hesitation. We have always had our differences, but have come together as one America when threatened. So what is Patriotism? Patriotism is defined as having a love and devotion for one's country, or a sense of nationalism. You can disagree with certain aspects of your country and still be patriotic; however, to want to bring about a fundamental change is not patriotic. It shows that you object with so many aspects of your nation that you want to change the very nature of your country. That is neither a love for country or devotion to it in any way. Some might even call it sedition. Revolutionaries do that, not those who love their country and are devoted to it. So my question is this: How do you measure patriotism in yourself and in others? Do you, your children and grandchildren have a measure of love and devotion to America? If so why, and if not, why not?
America is a Representative Republic, not a Democracy. We value individual Liberty over civility, and freedom over expanding government and increasing regulation. We value self reliance over high taxes. We are stubborn, outspoken, independent, and God help those who interfere with our God given rights.
Those who value the Socialist ideals of higher taxes, more government regulation and control, and a lifestyle where their needs are met by government instead of the individual often feel just as patriotic as the so called "right wingers." We have all seen in the post 9/11 America, the bumper sticker that says, "Peace is patriotic" which is true when the nation hasn't been threatened or directly attacked, however is flawed thinking in a time of war. It is not possible to attach patriotism to all of one's feelings and decisions. There are clear cut ideals and behaviors that are and aren't patriotic. Signs of patriotism include, but are not limited to, showing respect for the American flag, standing up and putting your hand on your heart for (and even go as far as to say) the pledge of allegiance, standing up for the national anthem. To show respect for the military and for veterans shows patriotism. To be realistic about our history is patriotic, knowing that it hasn't been all positive, but neither has it been all negative.
Of the many conversations I have had with people who have opposite political viewpoints, many have expressed that they don't hate America, yet advocate for nothing but changes that take us further and further into Socialism. To start off a conversation with, "I'm not for Socialism" or, "I'm not for Communism but something has to be done" shows that the individual knows their belief is Socialist or Communist already, they're just hoping that you are a polite little conservative and that you don't call them on it. That phrase "something needs to be done" is justification for many to slip away from our traditional patriotism and toward the fundamental transformation the we hear so much about these days. When you hear these catch phrases, remember that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck. If you're ideas are Socialist/Communist, then you're for Socialism/Communism, so call yourselves what you are, and stop beating around the bush.
Our Representative Republic is based on the individual rights of freedom and Liberty, not collective rights. We are not a Democracy. We are a Capitalist based society, which works fairly well in a nation where individual rights are valued. Socialism and Communism are incompatible with our Constitution, and our society's foundations. To attempt to move the nation away from these principles is seen by some as sedition, and intolerable. Make sure that you teach your children what being American means and teach them correctly. You are their number one influence, so don't miss out on the opportunity. Don't waste time arguing with those whose ideals are incompatible with Our freedom based capitalist society. The key is in teaching our children the meaning of "American."

Finding what is right in a sea of wrong
St. Paul once wrote, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things." (Phillipians 4:8) I have never seen another time in my life where this is more true than it is today. As we watch our nation torn apart from within by those who hate America to the core and condemn their own country at every opportunity, I am reminded of the need to return to a nation that follows the writings of St. Paul, a nation of morals and a nation of integrity. A God loving and God honoring nation. Where oh where has my America gone? America will never be destroyed by another nation. The greatest threat we have to our continued existence is from within. If you've been paying attention over the last few years, you know what I speak of. Our social decay has given way to many with too much time on their hands, and very odd ideals. The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka Kansas is a prime example of the odd but potentially dangerous philosophies we see as a result of American social decay.
Most of us know of the Westboro group's habit of protesting at military funerals. Their philosophy is that God is against America as a result of homosexuality and that dead military personnel is a direct consequence of America's collective sinfulness. They show up at military funerals with signs that say "God hates fags" and "God hates America."
I had the opportunity last night to speak with Shirley Phelps-Roper, who is the daughter of Westboro's pastor. She was a guest on the blog talk radio show "Live with Jeff and Jason" which airs on Monday at 11:00 pm. www.blogtalkradio.com. Ms Phelps-Roper was loud, overbearing, and insulting, not only to every caller, but to the hosts as well. Her behavior last night as well as the church members behavior at military funerals is not in keeping with what a Christianity holds sacred. I was appalled with her behavior on the show last night, even more so than the church members' behavior at funerals. We can estimate a persons character by their actions.. If bitterness and negativity are all that comes out, then the person is rotten to the core. Westboro Baptist Church has not the love of God, but a hard bitterness that I have never seen from people who claim to have received the salvation of Jesus Christ. Ms. Phelps-Roper holds that all soldiers are going to hell, thereby judging them all. It is not the place of human beings to pass that kind of judgement on others. God is the judge, not man. When this was pointed out to her, it was ignored by her. She did take offense to my calling into question her Christianity because of her hateful bitterness. She said that I could not know what was in her heart, which makes her a hypocrite. Her church judges the hearts of all military personnel who have died. She has been condemned by her own words.
This woman spoke many times of the need to repent, and seemed fixated of the wrath and judgement of God. Repentance for the wrongs you have done only comes after saving faith, believing in the sacrifice Jesus Christ for all. At the last supper, Jesus said, "This is my body, which will be given up for you." He also said, "This is my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant, it will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven." The body of Jesus was given up for you. How? sacrificed by crucifixion. His blood was shed so that sins may be forgiven, and to form a new covenant with you. What is a covenant? It's a promise. A binding agreement. God on that day stood in your place and paid a penalty for your wrongdoing. What he asks in return is that you accept that sacrifice, and believe. That's the new agreement. "To all who received him, he gave them the right to become the children of God. Children not born of natural descent, nor of human decision, or husband's will, but born of God."-John 1:12-13 This is why Westboro is wrong theologically. They have traded in their love for God and their gentleness, their opportunity for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ for a hateful, condemning attitude. These people I believe in the beginning felt frustration with wanting to return America to a more Godly nation, however, they began to trust in themselves instead of trust in God, and the result is that they have driven many people further from Jesus Christ, including their own congregation. Everything we as Christians do either brings people closer to Jesus Christ or drives them further away. Westboro is a wedge. They are dividers, and in their attitude they have further separated people from God. They have forgotten to trust in God and they have tried to shoulder the burden, trusting in themselves, and failing.
Even if you take out the religious aspect of the Westboro congregation, they are the most disrespectful group of people in America. They insult the memory of those who have died in the service of their country, and add to the grief of the friends and family who are already grieving their loss. Adding insult to injury is never appropriate. When you insult one military veteran, you insult us all, and we are a fraternity that doesn't take an insult to one of our own lightly. Veterans come out of the woodwork to defend other vets, and we will continue to do so against the People of Westboro.
America's greatest need is to turn from the social decay that infests our land today. We must do what is right, and remain a nation of laws and morals. We must root out those who spread hate and bitterness, such as the Westboro Congregation. We must not fail, and we must not grow weary. This task has fallen to you, like it or not. To preserve, we must take a stand. It isn't easy, but quite necessary. Stand with your fellow patriots, with your fellow Christians against this hate and bitterness. What these people do should not be ignored, but met head on with ferocity. I don't believe in ignoring the problem, and I don't believe in pacifying those who are wrong. God Bless.

Atoning for the Louisiana Purchase (Not!)
7-7-10 In a conversation yesterday I was told that, I needed to, "Stop immigrant bashing and atone for the Louisiana Purchase." The conversation was about the new Arizona immigration law. After correcting this gentleman regarding the lack of connection between the Louisiana Purchase and the problem with illegal immigration, I realized that he likely has the typical mentality of an overemotional, underinformed person on the political left.
First things first; the Louisiana Purchase. The United States bought the Louisiana territory in 1803 from France for a price of about 15 million dollars. The territory extended from what is now Louisiana to the Northern Rocky Mountains, and did not include any of the territory that is now Texas, or any of the Southwest states. Neither did it include what is now the the northwest states. The United States fought a war with Mexico from 1846-1848, gaining what is now California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, also conquering and occupying their capital of Mexico City in the end. On February 2, 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was signed, later to be ratified by both the U.S. and Mexican Congresses. The treaty called for the annexation of the northern portions of Mexico to the United States. In return, the U.S. agreed to pay $15 million to Mexico as compensation for the seized territory. So let me get this straight, the US won the Mexican War, seized a large portion of their territory, occupied their capital, and then agreed to pay them 15 million dollars for the land that they already had control of? Why yes, I believe I said that already! A quick paragraph of history for all who want to accuse the United States of stealing the Southwest from Mexico.
After having this brief conversation with the aforementioned person who was ignorant of what I always believed to be common knowledge in US History, I pondered how this man could be so wrong in his argument. He was wrong with regards to letting his emotion control him, but being wrong with his historical facts is what left me astounded. I frequently disagree with the left's viewpoints and their emotionalism replacing logical thinking, but why do they get their facts wrong? Only two possibilities: He either never cared to learn or check his historical facts, or he was taught wrong. Either way, it leads me to believe that our children are not being taught properly with regards to US History, and it is detrimental to the life of our nation. They're growing up to be ignorant adults, emotional and passionate, but ignorant.
Our school system in America is overwhelmingly Liberal, left leaning to the core in America. The left has shown their hand in wanting to change the foundation of America, and the school system is a major battlefield. They shape young minds to be leftists, who crave change. They amend history lessons to get across their own political ideas, such as 'the US is bad for taking land that was rightfully Mexico's." In reality, the US not only fought and won a war gaining Mexican territory in the process, but also paid the Mexicans for it after the war's end. I used to think that leftists twisted the facts to their liking, now it seems that some alter it altogether. If they can alter history and get away with it, they can reshape the nation to their liking. If we as a nation do not know our own history, we are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past, and we lose our national identity in the process. We must keep alert and actively involved in what our kids are learning at school, making corrections when necessary, Bringing me to my next point.
The school system is only half the problem. Where are the parents? Who corrects the fallacies taught to our children? A parent has the most influence on a child's life and development. It is the parent that shapes attitudes and beliefs, so my question is this: Where are you mom and dad? We must be there for our children, to teach them what it means to be an American. We must correctly teach history as well as love of country. An increasing number of Americans seem to dislike their country, and find fault with the United States first. In any issue it is the fault of the United States. Is it that person's fault? to a certain degree, but the greater burden lies with the parents, who had the responsibility to teach their children to love America and the Liberties afforded by such an exceptional nation.
What will you do? Will you atone for the Louisiana Purchase, or will you become more familiar with American history? Speak out boldly and correct your fellow Americans when need be, including your children's teachers. Teach your kids the correct American history and teach them to love their country. There has never been a nation like the United States, nor will there ever be again. God bless you, and God bless America.

Where's the Beef?
7-26-10 Mark Twain once said, "Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgemant." I have pondered the directions of my opinions and attitudes since I began writing for Carolina Sons of Liberty nearly two years ago, and have found that emotion has driven me to seem to bash Democrats in my online writiings. I must clarify who exactly my "beef" is with when I write opinions on political matters, events, and people. The group in America who constantly and consistently push for an ever increasing tax burden on the American citizen, and those who cotinually push for increasing government control over the individual citizen, believing that government can and should make decisions for how free men and free women should live., these are the people I have my "beef" with.
It seems that many Conservative/Libertarian bloggers and pundits have fallen into the Republicans are good, Democrats are bad trap, and I include myself in that group, for at times I want to bash Democrats. This is not so far off base, since Democrats control the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. They are essentially making policy decisions that negatively impact our individual freedoms and liberties. The question to ask is this: Is it the Democrat party we hate or the policies that seem to come from a neverending bag of ideas that come from registered Democrats? It's the policies! It is however important to understand that many of these policies we blame the current administration and Democrats for also pervades the Republican party. Where was our immigration policy during 2001-2007, when Republicans controlled both houses of congress and the presidency? They didn't have one. We rail on about how Democrats have no plan, well neither did the Republicans when they were in charge. This is not to say that there are no common sense ideas floating around in congress that conservative Americans would approve of, but none have gained more than a passing nod by the majority in congress.
The Obama administration and the Democrat congress has increased the national d4ebt by over 2 trillion dollars in 18 months, and objection to such spending is justified, but did we object when George W. Bush spent hundreds of billions of dollars on a financial sector bailout? If you didn't, you certainly should have.
I could go on about how leftists do much of the same, falling into a Republican/Democrat fight, but I rail on enough about Lefty's. My focus is on those of us on the right. We must rtefrain from letting the frustration show in what we write and say. No more "Obummer, Obamination, Obiteme, or Obutthead. The message must be effective. We don't sway opinions by calling names and showing our frustraions cursing and bashing. We also miss the point when we fall in along party lines. There are many Republicans who have the same opinions as the Democrat progressives. We must find these progressives no matter the party and get them out of our government.
Republicans will make significant gains in congress this fall. We must hold them accountable to the Constitution when they regain power. Relaxing even a little will be detrimental to our cause. We must remain vigilant if we want to remain free men and women, no matter which party is in control. It is easy to bash Democrats from a conservative perspective, and turn the other cheek with Republicans, but both parties deserve criticism and the watchful eye of the people. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. We must remain vigilant when power begins to change hands. Many Republicans are just as progressive as their democrat colleagues. No one deserves a rubber stamp of approval. Anyone with a progressive ideology and a big government, incresing control mentality is deserving of my criticism, and they shall have it.
